These MC4 Fuses are suitable for off-grid power set ups and also permanent mounted solar set ups like those on 4WDs, caravans and boats. When combining solar panels in series or parallel, a sudden short-circuit or fault can cause massive current backflow, risking irreversible damage to your panels or even electrical fires. Theses inline fuses act as a safety bridge, clicking directly into your standard solar cabling via male/female MC4 plugs. Typically, they are installed on the positive cable of each panel before it links up to other panels or a solar regulator. If the current spikes dangerously, the internal fuse blows, safely isolating the panel and shielding your appliances. They are waterproof, dustproof and IP68 rated. Replaceable 10x38 internal ceramic fuse. EN50521:2008 approval suitable for AS/NZS 5033:2012 standard. Also available in 10A and 30A.
